Acceptable ID under Oregon notarial law includes:
Current state-issued drivers license or ID card
U.S. passport/foreign passport w/U.S. stamp
U.S. military ID card
A permanent resident (green) card
Federal tribal ID
***All ID must be current or issued within the past 3 years and must match the name on the document
Can your provide legal advice about my document?
Under ORS 194.350(4) :
No, I cannot provide legal advice or explain your document. Oregon law limits notaries to verifying identity and witnessing signatures. If you’re unsure about what your document means or what type of notarization it requires, I recommend checking with an attorney or the document’s issuing agency.
Can you notarize for someone in a hospital or care facility?
Absolutely! I often provide mobile notary services in hospitals, care facilities, and hospice settings. What matters most is that the signer is able to understand what they are signing.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, debit/credit card, check, Zelle, Venmo, & Cash app are all acceptable forms of payment.
Do you have an office space if I’d rather come to you?
I do not operate out of a physical office — my notary services are 100% mobile. Instead of you having to come to me, I come directly to you. I can meet you at home, at work, in a hospital, public library, or even a coffee shop. wherever it’s easiest!
